Chris Gaul is a visual designer and creative director. He studied Visual Communication Design and International Studies at the University of Technology, Sydney. In recent years he has lived and worked in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Mainland China. After returning to Australia in 2020 he founded the design studio Parallel Lines. Chris has worked on visual design and user experience projects for UNSW, SBS, the Museum of Arts and Applied Sciences, Sydney Water, Telstra and the UTS Institute for Sustainable Futures, among others. Over the past 12 years he has taught in the UTS School of Design in Sydney and Hong Kong. Chris also exhibits his work in group and solo shows, curates exhibitions and writes and lectures on art and design.
