In late October and early November, Holly Williams went on a research road trip to regional venues for Creative Accounting including to Western Plains Cultural Centre, UQ Art Museum, Brisbane, the Museum of the Riverina in Wagga Wagga, Albury Library Museum and Manningham Art Gallery in Melbourne. Including this very excellent former bank from a small town between Albury and Wagga.
On 29 October, Glenn Barkley spoke at the launch of Paul Becker/10 Group’s latest creative enterprise - Contemporaries: art experiences for the socially curious. We are looking forward to participating in their program.
An adapted iteration of Here I give thanks: John R Walker curated by Glenn Barkley opened at Utopia Art Sydney November 28. The exhibition continues until 21 November.
Holly Williams had serious foundry envy during a visit to Urban Art Project's amazing facility in Brisbane where they fabricate artworks and assemble them to full scale before sending them off to their new locations around the world.
